Background and Goal of Site

"The Embryo Concept" page was on a commercial site. A significant increase in activity on this page took place when embryo cloning became a hot topic in the popular news media.

A few weeks later a group with an Internet site called "Heaven’s Gate" became a hot topic in the popular news media when the dead bodies of nearly all of the members of the group were found in a house in CA. A few days later it was reported in the popular press that every Internet page, registered at popular Internet directories, with the words "Heaven’s Gate" received a significant increase in hits.

When the "Grand Forks ND Flood" story hit the popular news media a few weeks later, the author of this site felt compelled to start this site (with a "Jonah" type of willingness).

Tragedy and the fear of the unknown cause people to ask some serious fundamental questions about life. It is the intent of this site to register Internet pages with Titles that include the frightening and perplexing topics that concern people today. This gives an excellent opportunity to point them to the Holy Bible and prayer for answers.

The purpose and goal of this site is to encourage people to read the Holy Bible.

Actually it is often better to listen to the Bible (on cassette tape, CD, DVD, etc.) so you can concentrate on what is being said.  It is important to listen to whole chapters and books of the Bible at a time.  In many cases, the next verse, chapter and book in the Bible do a much better job of explaining a passage than all of the commentaries put together!  A person who listens to the whole Bible is less likely to fall victim to a cult that takes a number of verses, strings them together, and builds a following on something less than God intended.

The focus of this site must stay on the Holy Bible.  Bible study aids on this site: must be an outline to foster understanding; must place focus on the Holy Bible; and, must contain less than 3% as many words as the Bible.

2004 Addendum: www.bible-study.cocarrers,com was added to the www.cocareers.com site and the embryo theory  was significantly expanded (see site map).  The total Bible Study / Overview contains about 4% as many words as the Bible which is more than the original goal (about 3% if a person does not count the added comments under the "Green Line" on each page).  Also see notes under author.
